Who runs Talk2See
Talk2See is run by a sole proprietor in Japan. Email: hello@talk2see.com. We will send our name and postal address without delay to anyone who asks.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we save your email together with: the date you joined, the page and language you used, your country (worked out from your connection), the page or ad link that brought you here, and whether and when you tapped “Reserve for $5”. No payment is taken on this page.
Visits from people who don't sign up are stored only as daily totals per page, language and ad link, with no email.
What we use it for
Your email is used for one message: telling you when early access opens. If you reserved, that message includes your $5 reservation link. Daily totals tell us which pages and ads help, so we know what to build first.
Why we are allowed to use it (UK and EU visitors)
Your email and the details saved with it: your consent, given when you join. You can withdraw it at any time. Daily visit totals: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages and ads help.
How long we keep it
Waitlist records: until 12 months after early access opens, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Daily visit totals: 24 months.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts this site and stores the data. Cloudflare may store or cache it in the United States and other countries where it runs servers, so we cannot name a single country. Before we send the early-access email, we'll add the name of the service that sends it to this page.
We don't sell your data, and these companies don't use it for their own purposes. We use no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. Your browser remembers only the language you picked.
How we keep it safe
Only the operator can access the data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, ask us to stop using it, object to how we use it, or get a copy you can take elsewhere. Email hello@talk2see.com from the address you signed up with. There is no charge, and we reply within 7 days.
In the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Australia, you can complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
Emails
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribe requests take effect within 5 working days.
Your conversations
The Talk2See app isn't public yet. Before it opens, this page will list where your spoken words are sent to make the picture, and how long they are kept.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects how we use your email, we'll tell you by email before the change applies.
